Booties In Your Budget

I know, I know.. I’ve been MIA. I haven’t posted in a while because I simply haven’t had any time. I’ve been super busy working, traveling… and shopping! Summer is officially here and so are the trends. I recently purchased two pairs of open-toed, blocked heel booties and let’s just say, I am obsessed. These booties are currently my favorite warm weather shoe because they look super cute with almost any outfit. I’ve never been a huge fan of wedges because I feel like they’re too casual and clunky so it was only right to purge my closet of wedges and replace with bootie heels.

I tend to stick with neutral, solid colors when I purchase shoes so that they match with almost anything. That being said, the first pair I purchased were the G by GUESS Juto Lace-Up Block Heel Booties in Medium Green for $32.00. Uhm, bargain! I personally think this sage shade of green is gorgeous, but if you’re not feeling the green, this shoe comes in other colors.

The second pair I purchased were the Jessica Simpson Riana Caged Booties in Warm Taupe for $53.00. I snagged these booties during a Nordstrom sale and unfortunately, they’re sold out almost everywhere. If I could, I would purchase these in every color.. That’s how much I love them.

The caged, lace-up detail on both booties make for the most stylish silhouette; sexy yet sophisticated. Maybe you want to add a little edge to the casual look of boyfriend jeans or wear the sundress you wore to work, out for a night on the town.. These bootie heels will effortlessly dress up any outfit. The stacked, block heel on each pair allows for comfort and versatility. For me, a block heel is a nice break from a stiletto because I don’t have to worry about stepping on uneven pavement and breaking my ankle! I really like that each bootie has a back zipper for convenience, making it easy to get them on and off quick. At the moment, these are my go-to shoes and best part is, neither broke the bank!

xo, Carly
