Flawless Foundation

Foundation: a necessity to every girl’s glam get-up. I’ve been wanting to write a post about the foundation I use because it’s simply amazing. I’ve tried and tested countless foundations, fell in love with Estée Lauder Double Wear, and will never wear anything else, ever again.

Estée Lauder’s renowned Double Wear Foundation prides itself on it’s “stay in place” formula and 24 hour staying power, all while providing unbeatable coverage and a flawless finish.I wear this foundation everyday, whether I’m headed to work or headed out for a night on the town, and it really does create a seemingly perfect complexion. This medium to full coverage foundation masks all imperfections and creates a beautiful semi-matte, natural finish. Even after long wear, it doesn’t sink into the fine lines on my face, crease, flake, cake up or dry out. The oil-free, non-acnegenic formula doesn’t clog my pores and helps to prevents oil build up, so even after hours of wear, I still look fresh-faced. This foundation has withstood it all: heat, humidity, tears, sweat, stress, rain.. You name it, it stays. It’s as if it’s waterproof! It never smudges and I never have any transfer residue or tint on my clothes, even if I’m bundled up to the nines.

Although some foundations are better suited for different skin types, this is an all around home run for everybody. This foundation comes in 38 different shades! Name a more iconic foundation, I dare you.

Tips & Tricks:

  • I prefer to apply this foundation with a beautyblender, rather than a brush, because it allows for seamless application.
  • This foundation is on SALE at Nordstrom right now.
