So, I have a serious sweet tooth… Desserts are my favorite.
I was scrolling through the Instagram explore page and came across a picture of a waffle loaded with all of the sugary sweets that I love. I thought to myself, “I need that in my tummy, right now.” This drool-worthy waffle is created at Waffle Magic right in West Babylon, NY. I decided to take my boyfriend’s little sister, Brianna (she’s 10 years old), with me and surprise her. We arrived at Waffle Magic and the place looked like heaven on earth. Not only did this place have waffles, it offered frozen yogurt, a
full service toppings bar, crazy milkshakes, smoothies, bubble tea, and coffee. We decided to stick with just one waffle each because we didn’t want to over indulge. After staring at the waffle menu long and hard, I chose the “M&M Parfait” waffle and Brianna chose the “Oreo Passion” waffle, but we both ended up sharing each others anyway.
Overall, the waffle was good, not great. You’re not getting a gourmet waffle. The waffles are made with one of those standard waffle makers that you see at a hotel buffet.. But, I guess it’s nice to see that they’re made fresh. The waffle itself is a little too thin and tough for my liking.. I like big, fluffy waffles. However, the topping concoctions were delicious: Ice cream, hot fudge, Oreo crumbles, M&Ms, strawberries, caramel syrup, peanut butter drizzle, whipped cream, powdered sugar.. Yum, yum, YUM.
I know you’re probably all wondering: “Are they expensive?” A single, special waffle is $6.50 or you can upgrade to the combo which includes a drink for $8.75.. Which, in my opinion, is reasonably priced.
Would I go back again? Yes, I would. A thinner waffle won’t stop this sweet tooth of mine!
