Free People Dupes

I’m an avid shopper when it comes to Free People. However, my bank account isn’t too fond of my unjustifiable habit of spending that kind of money. Seriously, my mom actually yells at me every time there’s a new package on the front stoop. Considering the fact that I love their style, I decided to seek out cheaper alternatives. I came across a few good dupes of some outrageously expensive, yet beautiful Free People pieces that I. Want. So. Bad. Continue reading

Kool Shades of Blue

If you know me, you know I’m pretty spontaneous, sometimes a little daring. I had this desire to dye the ends of my hair blue but I never thought this idea would come to fruition. Well, here I am, writing this blog post, with blue hair. I figured, why the heck not, it’s just hair. Now, don’t get me wrong, I would never dye my entire head blue or use permanent color, but a little change can be refreshing. Continue reading

Nights In New York City

As I’ve said before, New York City is one of my favorite places in the world. Give me any excuse to go, and I’m there.

My boyfriend and I had tickets to a late broadway show at Radio City and thought it would be best to stay the night. We stayed at CitizenM New York Times Square and I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Centrally and conveniently located near most broadway theaters and Times Square (as you can tell by the name), it was a mere 3 minute walk to Radio City! Continue reading

Booties In Your Budget

I know, I know.. I’ve been MIA. I haven’t posted in a while because I simply haven’t had any time. I’ve been super busy working, traveling… and shopping! Summer is officially here and so are the trends. I recently purchased two pairs of open-toed, blocked heel booties and let’s just say, I am obsessed. These booties are currently my favorite warm weather shoe because they look super cute with almost any outfit. I’ve never been a huge fan of wedges because I feel like they’re too casual and clunky so it was only right to purge my closet of wedges and replace with bootie heels. Continue reading

Moroccan Moisture

Does anyone else suffer from the curse of dry skin especially in the dead of winter? I know I do. Moisturizing has always been a part of my daily routine. The first thing I do once I get out of the shower is moisturize and nothing quenches the thirst of my poor dry skin better than Morrocanoil Body Soufflé.

Flawless Foundation

Foundation: a necessity to every girl’s glam get-up. I’ve been wanting to write a post about the foundation I use because it’s simply amazing. I’ve tried and tested countless foundations, fell in love with Estée Lauder Double Wear, and will never wear anything else, ever again.

Estée Lauder’s renowned Double Wear Foundation prides itself on it’s “stay in place” formula and 24 hour staying power, all while providing unbeatable coverage and a flawless finish. Continue reading

The Best Black Leggings… EVER!

I am definitely not a jeans person. I wear leggings any chance that I can. Leggings are pants and anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong! I wear my leggings to work paired with a cute blouse or tunic.. or lounging around the house on a lazy Sunday afternoon.. or while I’m out and about running errands. Leggings are a staple in my wardrobe because they can be effortlessly dressed up or dressed down, all while allowing me to be comfortable. Continue reading

The Day of Love

Valentine’s Day is observed around the world as a day to celebrate unconditional love and the heartfelt relationship you have with your significant other, or loved ones. I enjoy celebrating this day, mainly because I love celebrating any holiday. But.. I don’t believe that this one day, and all the commercialism encompassed, should measure the true merit of love in my relationship. My boyfriend does a very good job of making every day as special as this one, so for me, Valentine’s Day is just like any other day. Although, I do have to say, the two dozen red roses that my boyfriend had delivered to my job were SO beautiful.. And the accompanying box of chocolates definitely hit the spot! Continue reading

Warm Coats, Warm Hearts

As the dead of winter approaches here in New York, it has been quite frigid. I dread walking out the door in the morning to head to work. There’s always such a chill in the air and a layer of frost on my windshield. My car, unfortunately, does not have an automatic car starter.. So, in order to stay warm on the coldest of days, I bundle up in my Canada Goose parka.

Double Double Toil & Trouble

The other night, my friend and I went to The Witches Brew in Hempstead, NY. This cafe is well known for their extensive variety of coffees and teas, their savory desserts, their entirely vegetarian food menu, and the atmosphere created therein. This cafe has a spooky ambiance with gothic decor, as if it’s Halloween 365 days a year. You’re seated at quaint, mismatched tables, in love seats and plush pillowed chairs that make you feel as if you’re right at home. Continue reading
